"3 Onsen Hotel"

Great hospitality. The front desk staff/ owner were excellent. They used the translator app with great success. 2 Onsens in the Hotel plus one outdoor Onsen .You can't beat that! Traditional Japanese cuisine!

"Simple comfortable stay."

Very near to ski lifts and bus stop. We booked half board, dinner was yummy. There was a foot bath at the lobby great for tired legs.

There was no shower in our room. We had to use the onsen.

"Ski vacation at Shiga Kogan"

Location close to Yokoteyama lift. Also close to the free shuttle which takes you to the central area of Shiga Kogen. Quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived during a snowstorm and the buses were not running. They sent a car to pick us up, which was so nice and above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The chef made special vegetarian meals for us and they were not only delicious but presented like works of art. There were 3 onsens which were very nice at the end of a day of skiing.

Building was old and needs updating.
