Franz Josef TOP 10 Holiday Park

The kitchen and lounge area was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It felt homely. The room was clean. Being able to get to the shared kitchen undercover and close by was a huge bonus. The staff were very helpful with advice about visiting Franz Josef and had it been clear, we would have had a beautiful view of it from the property.

There was no window in the lodge room or its ensuite. There didn’t appear to be any vents, either, so fresh air overnight was an issue.

Well laid out tourist Park with self contained units, tent and van sites. We had a unit and it included everything you'd need. Good quiet location. Staff were excellent. Glacial views from the front door!

Great size and facilities, clean

The location to Franz Josef is wonderful. Just a short drive to the centre.

The rooms need to be refurbished. There were cracks in the wall, the bathroom was in need of a thorough clean and there was a dead stink coming into the room from outside. There is little ventilation in the rooms which left a mouldy smell. The kitchen is communal and is clearly neglected from maintenance.

Tidy rooms and a great location. The playground with bounce pillow was a huge hit for the kids.
