Very cute little cottage. Nice wood details.The beds were comfy. loved the resident dog

I think it needs a television on the wall. It is quite small but that is quite cute in itself. We were there for 2 rainy nights and days so felt like we needed a tv as there is not much to do in a confined space. Very steep stairs are a little scary.

La privacy, la tranquillità. La possibilità di vedere bene le stelle. La zona spa.

Il bagno è al piano terra e i letti al primo. Se devi andare in bagno di notte è veramente scomodo anche perche la scala è ripida. L'angolo cucina è ben accessoriato ma piccolo. Se fuori è freddo non si riesce a cenare sulla veranda esterna (nonostante la stufa) e all'interno non c'è spazio per mangiare. Lo consiglio per soggiorni estivi

Loved the sauna! Cabin was the perf getaway 🤩

MAGICAL. Clearly so much thought was put into the organization and construction of each little retreat house. As a family of four, there was space enough for us to be together yet then have time alone. Sitting in a hot tub surrounded by NZ trees and ferns and singing Tui Birds, was amazing! The sauna also was such a treat! The solid outside dining table was equipped with an outdoor heater and plenty of hooks to hang drying clothes. The stairs going up to the bedrooms had traction strips applied to each step that increased one’s confidence. The view from our porch was filled with a peaceful field and distant trees!

Absolutely nothing.

The location and grounds at Kahere retreat are amazing, we made use of the communal sauna and spa pool. Friendly staff and lovely dog frankie!

Stairs in the property are a bit steep - just need to be mindful when going to the toilet in the middle of the night.
