Basabasi Island Lodge

Near to beach end center, so friendly and they really help us a lot with motorbike, food.

It was not that clean, with cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom. Also the cabin was very nice but the sheets smelled a little bad and looked dirty.

Truly it was one of the best stay for me in whole Indonesia! All place is beautifully designed with all details! In this small houses you can truly rest and have some tropical vibe. Is very close to city and harbour which make transportation very easy. Host is more than helpful!

Right off the boat, Redy was standing there with his big smile to pick up our bags and a scooter that we could rent troughout our stay. We had the superior room which was large and right next to a chill area where I enjoyed my delicious breakfast every morning. I started my first part of the holiday in Karimunyawa, and couldn’t be happier with Basi Basi being our first stop. Due to the bad weather the ferry didn’t come for 2 days, keep this in mind in case you have a flight booked too tightly! Basi basi gave us the room for 2 extra nights with a discount and even went to the market to have an awesome bbq together, thank you again for that.

That we couldn’t stay longer

The property was like a mini paradise in paradise! Our bungalow was super nice and clean. The staff were amazing and super friendly! Not to forget the amazing breakfast you get served every morning :) The location is also perfect because it’s close to the center and a 10 minute scooter drive to Sunset Beach. You can rent a scooter at Basa-Basi which is definitely recommended when you’re on the island. I didn’t catch the name of the cat but he/she is so cute! Hopefully we’ll return to Karimunjawa and we’ll definitely stay here again :)

Nothing we didn’t like!

Cute lodge with an outdoor bathroom that gives a feel of staying in a nature. Room and the bed is really comfortable, we slept so well every night. Fredi was such a nice host and very helpful with recommendations. We arrange scooter and boat trip at the hotel directly, which was very convenient. Breakfast was superb too.

Delicious breakfast, lovely staff and beautiful place. We would definitely repeat!!

Everything was perfect. They were kind, the place is clean, comfy. Breakfast tasty. 😉
