We booked two rooms at Kulkul Bungalow and were very happy with our stay. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and has a very calming atmosphere. The pool was clean and inviting, and the overall quietness made it incredibly relaxing. While there’s no on-site restaurant, several dining options are just a short walk away — though we’d recommend carrying a torch at night, as the surrounding roads aren't well-lit. The room amenities were just what we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there was a slight language barrier, Google Translate worked well and communication wasn’t a problem. Overall, it was a wonderful and cozy stay — I only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The door locks felt a bit worn and didn’t close as securely as we’d have liked. That said, the area itself felt very safe, so it didn’t become a major concern during our stay.

The property is an exceptional lush oasis. Rooms were clean, comfortable, private and an absolute gem for the money paid. Pool was amazing and even better than the photos. Staff were friendly, always available, responsive, just exceptional When asked they helpfully arranged taxi trips to/from Port, scooter hire, snorkelling trip which included escort to actual boat and also water taxi back to Bali. All at very fair prices. Location is awesome with a great series of very tasty and well priced cafes/restaurants all within 10mins walk or a couple of mins by scooter. Truly amazing experience and would stay again.
