Whar not to like should have stayed longer

What an amazing place! Off the beaten track, in the middle of the jungle, with delicious food and the best sunset view in whole Palawan! And the people! Special thanks to Grace for being super kind, welcoming and helpful with organizing island hopping, transport, etc. We really appreciate it ❤️ If you’re looking for an adventure and want to be close to nature, this place is for you 😊

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with wonderful welcoming staff. Great location to white beach and coconut beach. Restaurant food was delicious.

We loved the remote location but it’s not accessible by scooter in rainy season so walk to town (1hr) or hire a tricycle. Get the breakfast package since there’s nowhere to get food nearby. The vibe in the bar at night is a bit drab - could do with some music for ambience. We stayed 3 nights so went to the jungle bar next door twice instead which was very comfortable and laid back with music & atmosphere.

The view from the cottage is beautiful and location in a jungle is very nice, also accessibility to the white beach is good, free breakfast was a nice plus. Quality of the food is good

We didn’t feel very taken care of, in 4 days there was no room service, neither question if everything was okay and if we have all we need. No one cleaned the bathroom, and would have been nice to change our bed sheets - as it is very humid - we didn’t ask for it though. The prices of the food in restaurant are definitely overpriced. I was thinking prices were high because of the logistics, until I went to eat in the neighbours place. Hope this can help, wish you the best !

The view was absolutely stunning, the nearest beach was spectacular and the food was very tasty. The host was also warm and welcoming.

We knew there was a trek to get there but it didn't make it any easier with 20kg of luggage strapped to us. The path was uneven and rocky and the final few metres were extremely steep and difficult to get up. The view at the top was absolutely incredible but unfortunately our room was the most basic room we've ever stayed in, and to make matters worse it wasn't even properly sealed from the outside, meaning cockroaches and other bugs made their way in through the open floor boards. There was no furniture at all in the room other than the bed which had a dirty mosquito net with huge holes in it. Our bedding was also stained. We wanted to sleep with the light on as we were worried about bugs getting into our bed but the electricity cut out in the night on both nights meaning our fan also went off. After the first night we almost booked a different hotel but the amazing views the following morning stopped us. This is definitely not a relaxing break if you don't like bugs flying around your head in the middle of the night - we both agreed that the room was really badly represented in the photos online. Also the outside toilet had swarms of bugs buzzing around at night. We both really wanted to like this place but felt we had to be clear on how basic the room is so other people don't make the same mistake!

We really liked the quiet place. There is no signal which is very good. But they have starlink wifi in the restaurant which is really good for work or other stuff. (Attention, only works in the evening when there is electricity. The view is magnificent. If you want to go there by motorbike you should rent the Honda XRM and be a confident driver.

The matress is only few centimeters thick, laying on a wooden frame. So the bed is quite hard but you get used to it after a day. You should keep in mind that it is quite far away from Port Barton, so we suggest staying 2-3 nights in the lodge and maybe some days in PB to enjoy the nightlife. A sad point is that we got the impression that the owner is slightly using the fact that the lodge is far away. So the water is quite overpriced. Also the charged 100 P more for the transfer from PB to EN than all the other hotels in PB. We knew the price in the town proper, so we asked why there is the difference. The owner told us with his operator we would be dropped off in front of our hotel in EN. So we were happy. But in fact it was the exact same company as everywhere else and we where not dropped at the hotel. This is no big issue, but it always gives a bad feeling.

The property is beautiful. It is off the beaten path, tucked into nature and overlooks a pristine coastline and bay. The staff is kind, and the grounds are well maintained.

My room, chocolate hills, had an overwhelming odor coming from the bathroom, assuming corroded pipes or contaminated water. While this happening is understandable for a property nestled so deeply into nature, the odor was intolerable to sleep with and made me physically sick (vomiting and diarrhea). Maybe it was just this room, or perhaps I’m sensitive, but I would check the odor of the bathroom upon checkin and if there is anything off, have it addressed immediately before going to sleep, as the scent progressed and worsened throughout the night. I tried sleeping with a facemask to help, and eventually tied a sarong around my face to keep the smell out. Thomas was kind and apologetic about the situation the next morning, and I was reluctant to write the review due to the owners retaliation in comments, but staying at this place, though beautiful, made me physically sick and I’d like to pass that along to other nature-loving travelers. This is not a complaint against the style of the property, but an objective recount of what happened at my stay. Everything else was really beautiful, would have loved to enjoy it more.

Beautiful views. Great hosts. Delicious food. Peaceful. Very close to two wonderful beaches with the best in our opinion being white beach the closest to green hill!

What a view! Amazing. Beautiful accommodation and clean room/bathroom. Added bonus was chatty cats!
