The view was amazing. The food at the restaurant was very nice with great flavours. The team were helpful and very polite. The chef/ Assistant to the owner did a great job of making sure things were right. The owner Thomas was also always available to help when needed. Great place will definitely recommend and be back

In the level of accommodation that I booked cold showers. But really that is me being a soft. Ok

"Unique experience in the jungle, calm rooms away from town, but lacks of comfort, too expensive."

7.0

-Thomas is an excellent host, very present and available for the customers, gives tips, helps for transportation, etcโ€ฆ -The common area is pleasant with an amazing view! -Also the view from the room is great ! -Very calm place, real immersion in the jungle -Proximity with white beach

Too expensive for the low comfort. Room is unaesthetic. Bad smell coming from the bathroom When itโ€™s raining, impossible to move from the lodge because of the slippery road

"Iโ€™m pleased we went because it was a beautiful area but probably wouldnโ€™t return"

7.0

The views from our balcony and the restaurant were outstanding . The food in the restaurant was all delicious . The staff were very friendly . It was in walking distance to White Beach and Coconut Beach which were both beautiful especially Coconut Beach .

The trip from Port Barton was horrendous in a tuk tuk . There had been rain and the road was thick mud and rocks . The tuk tuk can only go so far and then you walk which is fine unless you are carrying your luggage . The final bit of the walk was up a very steep hill

Amazing Cottages with the best view!! We can highly recommend this amazing accommodation. Thomas built this one with a lot of love. The food is also amazing. Please ignore the bad reviews. Green hill is a bit far away BUT itโ€™s totally worth it. It is also just max 15 Minuten to walk to white beach and from there it is only a 5 minute boat ride to port Barton. We enjoyed this place a lot and it was one of our highlights.

"Perfect spot to relax"

8.0

We had an unforgettable stay at the Green Hill Cottages! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled deep in the jungle with breathtaking views that take your breath away. It truly feels like a hidden paradise. The cottages themselves are charming. The serenity of the surroundings ensured complete relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to recharge, this is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a tranquil, nature-filled escape!

"Not for us!"

4.0

- Grace was friendly and helped us booking excursions and transport. - Food was great and nice views. - Comfortable bed. - Great for someone who loves adventure, doesnโ€™t mind getting dirty and wants an escape.

Iโ€™m hoping the following will help future guests before booking as we wish we had known but didnโ€™t think it was made clear when we booked: - It is a 45 minute (at least) very bumpy TukTuk journey from the Port Barton to as close as they will take you and then a 10 minute walk through mud and up an extremely steep hill to get to the property. Some TukTuk drivers will refuse to drive the journey at all as it is so bad and our TukTuk even got stuck we had to push it. - The electricity is solar powered without a generator which means no charging devices, no fan or lights after 12pm. The cabins are extremely dark so you have to leave the door open to get any light in the morning as the power isnโ€™t back on so it allows all the bugs to get in. - Separate shower and bathroom. You have to walk down a path away from the cabin to use the toilet in the middle of the night or the shower. The flush also does not always work. It was raining whilst we were there and I got drenched at 5am just going to the loo. - WiFi only available in the seating area by reception. There is quite literally nothing else to do in the area except what you have with you or your imagination so bare that in mind. - For the price we paid of ยฃ30 p/n it really is not acceptable to provide towels with stains on or a mosquito net with holes in. We came back from dinner and there were mosquitos/flies/eggs on the bed from the holes. I had to stick stickers over them (pics attached of the bugs).

"it was a disaster for me"

1.0

I guess if you wanted to sit around and stare at your phone for a few days it's okay. Really nothing else much to do>

Don't use google to find the greenhill, it will take you miles away from the actual location. All you need to know is go to whites beach and keep on going to the end of the road. Don't go if it has been raining because the road is really muddy. I arrived tired and muddy and the girl led me to my room which was a little nipa hut about 8 ft by 10 ft. I paid for and had a confirmation of a bungalow 176 square feet with a private bathroom and balcony. When i refused to stay in the little hut with a bathroom down the path. I was told that i would have to pay an extra thousand pesos a night and i told the girl i would give her 2,000 pesos. She then told me that the rooms were booked for the next night and i would have to move back to the nipa hut I checked the websites and they still had the 176 square foot bungalow's available. I had my breakfast which was pretty good and was loading my luggage onto my motorbike when the girl came down with the telephone and told me her boss wanted to talk to me. He demanded that i give the girl 2,000 more pesos after i already spent 4200 pesos to stay for one night. he told me he had all my information and he was going to call the police and have them stop me at the airport so i couldn't leave the island. I've never been treated so badly any place in the world i have traveled.
