The staff is excellent. The young gentleman from Nepal, GC delivers meticulous service. Even though the location is not readily accessible but fortunately it's a few minutes walk from the bus stop. Room is very spacious and clean, breakfast is great and we really like the dinner, all sabu sabu with different menu, perfect for us in this season with a temperature of 13°. We will definitely consider to come back in the furure.

We arrive at 7pm and the uphill road is really dark. Strongly recommend to install light to illuminate the hotel sign at night.

La tranquilidad

Llegamos tarde ( previo aviso) y no nos habían dejado cena aunque cuando se lo explicamos nos hicieron algo de cena. Agradecida por ello porque por allí no había nada para comprar ni restaurante donde ir.

Séjour absolument exceptionnel dans cet établissement à Hakone. L’endroit est magnifique, très apaisant et parfaitement intégré dans la nature, ce qui permet de vraiment se ressourcer. L’accueil a été remarquable, avec une gentillesse et une attention rares. Tout est pensé pour offrir une expérience authentique et confortable, dans un cadre calme et reposant. Mon seul regret est de n’y être resté qu’une nuit. L’endroit mérite clairement plus de temps pour en profiter pleinement et découvrir la région.

Nice traditional onsens - separate male and female pools that switch during the day, so you can experience both baths. Self service drink station available all day and self-service bar available after 3p.

Property is dark and dated. You can see the pics - feels like the interior hasn’t been significantly updated in many decades (potentially 2-4 decades). Property is just well past due for a major refresh.
