Trikora Beach Club and Resort

Extremely clean and neat. The location is gorgeous for a quiet retreat. Never cared for TVs in resorts but they were great and had strong enough wifi to stream Netflix in 4k. Amazing massage!

The plumbing was ancient (our shower drain kept flooding), the staff was sweet but not very conversational and took eons to react especially when asked for suggestions or plans. The western food was meh (we ended up feeding the sausage on the pizza to the adorable resort cat) and the Indonesian cuisine was yummy but limited and overpriced. There's a gorgeous restaurant a bike ride away that we enjoyed more

I had made a special request that was accommodated and successful. After looking at other resorts in Bintan during my visit I felt Trikora Beach Club and Resort was definitely the best choice. The location was excellent, the access to private beach was beyond expectations. The beach was beautiful and clean. the grounds were kept well, the room was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive and courteous. We felt welcomed from the beginning to the end. The resort had great food options, beautiful pool and sitting areas to enjoy the time there. It made my vacation extremely relaxing and beautiful. I made incredible memories staying at Trikora Beach Club and Resort. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for an excellent vacation in Bintan.

The only thing I did not like was that there was communication between the staff towards the end of the stay. I paid for a special request for the to the first night I was there but somehow the front desk did not get notified and tried to charge me for the request once more. The young lady was doing her best to navigate the situation but it felt a bit disrespectful to have to wait for confirmation from other staff that I had already paid since I was able to tell her which staff member I paid to, when and that it was noted as part of payment for my dinner that night. It took some time to resolve. other than that everything else exceeded expectations.

It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely villas on the beachfront. Food is really tasty and with a lot to choose from. Beach is gorgeous and very quiet. Rooms are clean.

Due to the location being secluded there isn’t much to do at night time. Wifi is also quite slow or not working due to the location also. These are very small things however.

This hotel was great value. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the facilities were meticulously maintained. There's a stark difference to the standard at this resort compared to others in the area.

There could have been more loungers by the pool. There was always a bit of a grab in the mornings as guests claimed their seats with towels and then disappeared.

We stayed here four days as a large family and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place has a lovely relaxed vibe, with a classic tropical beach style. The beach bungalows are simple but tastefully done. The pool was clean and good for kids. The beach was great. The food was generally good, the waiters very kind and professional. Groups should order 30-45 minutes in advance to avoid a wait. We booked transport to and from the ferry, it worked a treat. Bikes were available for a bit of touring, and kayaking was fun. We did a bit of low-key snorkelling too.

Don't expect all sorts of action or things to see in the immediate neighbourhood. Tours can be booked, but this place is first and foremost for chilling out, and it does that very well indeed.

From minute one we were guided into the caring embrace of the sincere staff. Their attention and punctuality was sublime. What a wonderful stay at this truly beautiful resort. I’d say this is one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It was near perfect. The food was top notch, served quickly, with a plethora of choice/cuisines. The beach, along with the rest of the resort, was pristine. Daily cleaning service with very good WiFi and even better TV access for those late night movies/series. We didn’t explore the local area and just stayed on the resort. There are only a few shops nearby. Bring plenty of sunscreen and facial SPF. The staff kindly went to a shop 20 minutes away and bought us some as we were running low. They really did go the extra mile.

The slightest of moans would be that our meals were brought out at different times, which meant one of us had finished eating before the others’ meal had been put on the table. However, this only happened on two occasions out of about 18 servings.

What a gem. Don’t expect luxury or ornate or haute cuisine or entertainment. What you will find is tranquility and charm and delightful service. Beyond massage and swimming, nothing to do except relax and enjoy. Although a 5K cycle ride will bring you to a kite boarding center perfect for beginners. My only regret is not discovering it while living in Singapore as a perfect weekend away.
