"Good motel close to airport."

Not there very long as we had a very early flight. Close to airport, good facilities - kitchenette, very hot water and spacious room. Very clean and the staff very helpful regarding bus number to catch and food outlets nearby.

Nothing. But a hint for other travellers wanting to buy meals- we were told there was a fish and chip shop, an Asian restaurant and a supermarket nearby. That was right and they were in walking distance (10minutes) but when we went to buy fish and chips we didn't know that they only took NZ cash or NZ credit/debit cards. The Asian restaurant took all credit cards except American Express and Diners and did not put extra fees on as with most credit cards in NZ. Excellent food in the Asian restaurant.
