Stargazing Beach Hut on Mudeford Sandbank with wake up sea views

Absolutely amazing spot - in a very very well equipped pretty beach hut. Views are amazing (the sunset from the mezzanine was spectacular, lying in bed just looking at the harbour - just beautiful). We had everything we needed, was an incredible over night stay - we made use of the BBQ, and in the morning cooked ourselves a little breakfast using the oven. Hosts have thought of everything. My kids loved using all the beach toys. Mattresses were really comfy! Slept so much better than expected!

Staying at the huts, you have to be aware that you may need an early morning trip to the toilet block (we did!!) but the sunrise was beautiful and its all part and parcel of staying there. As they are a row of beach huts you have to be aware of close neighbours, so we obviously made an effort not to be too noisy/ intrusive.

The location was great as we had already visited this area before so we knew what to expect. The kitchen & hut was well equipped.

The deckchairs were really uncomfortable to sit in and I think there should be some upright chairs for sitting in outside. The electric battery although we were informed was fully charged ran out out early in the evening after cooking our dinner so we had no lights in the hut in the evening this also meant that the fridge went off with our food in it and we were unable to charge our phones. The gas cannister also ran out when we attempted to cook our breakfast so we had to try and change it over which we did find difficult to do even with the instructions left there. The hut looked very tired and I think needs some work carrying out on it for the price we paid. The very worst thing though was to receive a text from Julian informing us that he had had a complaint about the loud noise and swearing from our hut, when we were actually sitting there quietly watching the sea. He enquired how many people were there and informed us that the beach hut security team would evict us with the Police if it's reported again?? This was a very alarming and upsetting message to receive and to be wrongly accused of something that we had not done. We were a mother and daughter (29 year old) having a quiet weekend away and found this message extremely inappropriate.

We live locally to the accommodation so knew exactly what to expect. It didnt disappoint and we were able to escape work for a few days and totally relax and enjoy nature

Location was 5 star … beach hut had everything you could think off . Will definitely be back again we loved it

Access to beach and shoreline, everything in hut was well thought through and organised well.

The shared bathroom facilities 50m away from beach house. Free bikes from car park to hut would have been a great bonus, as managing bags was difficult - no ferry running and mini train only allowed 1 bag per person.
