The food was excellent, however a TV will be nice inside the room for introvert people

Cradle Moon (ehemals Heia Safari) ist meine Empfehlung für alle, die in Johannesburg nach einem langen Flug erst einmal 1-2 Tage in 🇿🇦 ankommen/entspannen wollen - ein einmaliges Ambiente (Zebras, Giraffen, Antilopen im ‚free roaming‘ Modus) & sicher, exzellentes Frühstück & sehr guter Service, der See & der Staudamm - wandern, biken, viele Outdoor-Aktivitäten & einfach runterkommen, perfekt als Einstieg in einen Urlaub in Südafrika!

The beds, the kitchen and the food

No TV, the parking is far from the rooms, the rooms are not child friendly as coffee and tea table is easily accessible

The view and the restaurant is on the other level

No WiFi in the room

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to accommodate every request, which included two game drives. The game rangers were fantastic, very knowledgeable and the team thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing baby rhino, giraffe and zebra were an absolute highlight. The rooms were clean and comfortable and all dining staff were fantastic.

The rooms were dimly lit - would have loved to have been able to switch on a light to see better in the evening. Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat at the restaurant on the water, as it was full when we arrived, and we weren't able to reserve seating.
