Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge

The restaurant view was amazing, game drive plus the waterfall. You also get to see Zebras and other animals around the lodge. There’s also different activities to do.

The serving staff are a bit demotivated. The front desk staff are exceptional.

Staff were friendly

Our stay was very disappointing overall. The grass around the house we stayed in was extremely long and clearly had not been cut, which made the area feel neglected. We specifically booked a double bed, but instead received two single beds pushed together, which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. We were informed at reception that we were not allowed to take our own snacks , However, when we went to the restaurant, we were only given a menu and were told that no snacks were available. This was very confusing and frustrating, as there was no option to buy snacks or even a cold drink for the room. I could not understand the purpose of not allowing guests to bring their own snacks if there is no alternative provided by the restaurant, especially when it is closed. The most disturbing experience was at the restaurant in the evening, where we saw a very large rats close to the area where we were eating. I am not exaggerating when I say it was about the size of my foot. This was extremely unhygienic and completely ruined the dining experience. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, and based on our experience, I would not recommend it.
