Great place to switch off and connect with nature. Loved the animals roaming around and the waterfall. Restaurant food was nice.

I didn’t like the fact all the tables in the restaurant near the lake were reserved. Also the lodge is a non-self catering place, so there should be specials in the restaurant for the guests that’ll be at least staying at the lodge for a couple of nights, especially for dinner as the breakfast is free but we can’t buy everything in the restaurant for consecutive nights on normal prices, there should be at least specials on the meals that aren’t for free. The prices for some of the activities are a bit pricey for example the game drive is R550 pp but there aren’t many rare/exotic animals on the trip, at least if there were lions or a couple of vultures if not do specials for the game drive that kids at least get complimentary snacks for the 2 hour trip or offer some drinks (one per person maybe) because there aren’t many exotic animals on that trip for such a price.

The cleanliness and the restaurants

The breakfast was really good. The peace and tranquillity was awesome.

Not all plugs in the unit were working. There was a drain smell outside, no television, no air conditioner.

I was given sub standard breakfast pack, I'm a GM at Sparklings Resort there I know what to expect - No WiFi, very weak cellphone signal, No TV or Fridge for R2K per night was not worth it
