Dartmoor Halfway Campsite

We were in the riverside belltent, lovely private pitch and very close to the amenities.

Restaurant was really lovely. Location of our tents was almost perfect. Staff friendly and attentive. Tents were clean and spacious and had everything you needed.

Too close to the road - very noisy at night. The smell from the shower/toilet block was awful.

Location was great 8 mins away from where I needed to go so very convenient for us. staff was amazing! They went above and beyond for us. food was some of the best food we have had when staying away! Over all he had a great time in the bell tent with the halfway in we would definitely recommend. & we hope to come visit again! 10/10

really hard to get to without a car

Very cosy,in the morning looked out and a bottle of milk delivered , very nice touch toilet blocks very clean. Had a washing machine and tumble dryers as well if needed.

The only thing was u could hear the traffic as quite close to the main road.

Bell tent was perfect had everything we needed. Loved the fresh milk delivery in the morning. Had the best night sleep ever and found the bed so comfy. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless. Food in the pub was lovely and breakfast just spot on.would definitely come back again and highly recommend.

The 2 members of staff we saw were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The pub food, dinner and especially breakfast were amazing

We were lucky that we were the only ones staying in the bell tents but would have been horrific if both were occupied as extremely close together The road noise can't be helped but was very loud through the night The bed could do with upgrading, very creaky! The tents are right next to the toilet / amenities block, you could hear every toilet flush, hand dryer and chemical toilet disposal! The bell tent was very basic, not the 'glamping' experience we are used to. If it wasn't for the fact we needed a bed for the night to break up a very long journey we wouldn't have stayed.

The campsite was lovely and the tent was perfect. The staff in the pub were great and very accommodating.

It's fairly remote but I knew this prior to booking. It is on a very busy road which can be heard all through the night.
