"Lovely, relaxed stay while driving home from Cornwall."

9.0

Staff was very friendly and helpful at our arrival. Bell tent was clean and nicely organized with kettle and teas/coffees and lights. Drinks were ordered before we were showed the tent, so when we came back to the bar, they were sitting waiting for us

Only the noise of the road.

Pub onsite, lovely food. Breakfast was amazing and staff all very friendly and helpful.

No lighting around the bell tent so very tricky to navigate around the tents guide lines at night

Lovely position with comfy bell tent and very welcoming pub.

Toiletries in tent had already been used and/or refilled. Were not full.

"An ideal place for a little getaway; either alone, in a couple or with a dog."

9.0

I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff, who showed me to our tent and explained everything that I needed to know. I was given a flask of fresh milk, which I really appreciated, and a box of tea and coffee. The tent was clean and well equipped with everything we could've needed. Plenty of towels were provided, as well as a bath mat to use in the shower room. The shower was easy to use, a good pressure and ideal temperature. The bed was very comfortable and was a full size double. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and filling. We were able to order one breakfast option (which included vegetarian and vegan options) as well as one drink of our choice included in the price. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The tent only had one bedside lamp which did not cast enough light if you wanted to read at night.

The large tent was fabulous, so much space and the bed has to be the most comfortable ive stayed in. The showers were excellent.

The location comes with traffic noise, can’t be helped.

The bell tent was in a nicely kept spot and the pub, staff and food were great. We received a warm welcome and the bell tent was spotlessly clean and the bed lovely. We had milk delivered to the tent in the morning which was a nice touch as well. The breakfast which was in with the price was lovely and made the break on the whole very well worth it.

There was nothing we didn’t like at all. An element of improvement might be to have a small table and chairs in the bell tent as if it’s raining and you can’t eat outside it would be good to be able to do this inside - there was room for one we thought but this is feedback rather than criticism
