Dartmoor Halfway Campsite

Accommodation lovely. Toilet block ok. Restaurant evening meal and breakfast amazing. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Only disappointment was our bell tent location. The noise of the traffic, especially lorries made it a bit of a disturbed night's sleep.

Huge clean glamping tent. Amazing food in pub. Lovely staff.

Very strong nasty drainage smell in toilet and shower block.

Location

Was in a ball tent that was so close to the neighbours we could hear their conversations, no privacy, shared tables in front of both tents that were far to close to each other.

Great facilities and staff with a good range of drinks and food on offer

Men’s toilet and shower block was pretty clean but perhaps just needs a little more attention during busier periods

Staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary drink included hot chocolate which was very much appreciated. Bed was comfortable, and space was a decent size. The food served is delicious (we had dinner and breakfast). The stay which included a large breakfast and a non-alcoholic drink is fantastic value for money.

Water from damp ground seeps through the tent floor. We used the provided indoor slippers but they got soaked through. The toilet block area smelled so we avoided using them as much as we could - alright for one night's stay but would be more inconvenient if staying for longer.

Lovely quiet location and the bell tent was a great size. We had lovely food in the restaurant with very friendly staff.

Wonderful stay in the glamping tent with tea and coffee facilities included and bed was really comfortable too. Breakfast was really tasty and included and made this stay really good value. Staff in the pub were very friendly and helpful and evening meal was great. If you fancy a different night away experience I would recommend.

Little bit noisy due to the road behind but didn't stop us sleeping!
