Wooden Beach Sunset Cottages

The owner's family is very nice and friendly. She made a great meal, I had the local fried rice was delicious. When the low tide you can walk around the seaweed farm from the accommodation, and you can also see a lot of marine life.

The sound insulation is poor. You can easily hear next room's conversation.

Slechte communicatie. Vooral vooraf over bijvoorbeeld transfer. Je kan daar niet met een taxi komen en het is met je grote koffer nog 16 minuten lopen. Ze reageren niet (of traag). Bij vertrek hebben we wel transfer geregeld, dus met een beetje moeite en geld lukt het wel.

It’s local family owned and they were so helpful and friendly! Cute little cottage, beautiful view, tasty breakfast, and comfy bed. I tried their warung too and it was very delicious as well. Also, it was nice of them to let me rent the scooter longer even after check out so I could finish my diving course. One small thing was my first night the shower didn’t have any water coming out, but the owner went to find the problem and fixed it as soon as he could, so I could finally have water.

Other than the temporary no water issue, and the water not super warm, everything was great staying here, definitely would book again specially because of the owner family’s hospitality.

Die Lage war atemberaubend. Im Pool bei einem Mango-Daiquiri den Wellen in ein paar hundert Metern beim Sonnenuntergang zuschauen, war einfach eine once-in-a-lifetime Experience. Der Preis war natürlich auch unschlagbar (dafür hat man auch ganz einfache, aber sehr saubere Hütten mit eigenem Bad). Alles ist sehr familär, da es nur wenige Hütten gibt und es von einer herzlichen Familie geführt wird.

Quiet location, good value for money & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful. They helped to arrange boat transport & transfer, picked me up from the yellow bridge. They also kindly dropped me to the Rocky Boat jetty on departure (all via motorbike fyi).

Made was very helpful and a lovely host. My room was lovely, and the pool was deep and cool. I found watching the seaweed growing industry in front of us fascinating. We could watch the sunset here.

Yes, the walls are thin, but everyone staying here was considerate. No fridge in the room but we didn't really need it.

Het was een hele leuke locatie om te verblijven. Een houten hutje met een badkamer. Wij hadden er 2 naast elkaar met een tussendeur zodat wij als gezin bij elkaar waren. Verwacht er niet teveel van het is precies zoals het is, een houten kamer met een bed en een kast. Het zwembad was echt top! Precies goed en het uitzicht echt super! De gastheer was super vriendelijke en hielp ons met alles. De huur van een scooter, de terugreis naar de boot. Er waren 2 (buur)kindjes die af en toe kwam spelen met onze jongens. Ook de Warung Ria was super. Als je geen zin had om voor iets eten op pad te gaan kon je daar je eten bestellen en op je eigen terrasje opeten.

Wij waren ons er niet van bewust dat je 2 individuele taxi's nodig had om van de boot naar de woning te komen. Van de ene kant naar de andere kant van de Yellow Bridge moet je zelf lopen en opnieuw een taxi nemen. Maar dat staat los van de accomodatie en was iets wat wij niet op voorhand wisten.

Ria and her family were extremely welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. We a lively stay as an extended family.
