We were so impressed with Susie, the owner, when we stayed at the Red Wing a month ago, that we decided we'd make it our "go to" motel from now on whenever we visit Manitou Springs! 😊 The place is like going back in time, yet with all the modern conveniences. Susie is wonderful! What a super special lady! 🧑

Loved the location , close to Downtown Manitou Springs, but off main drag, view of park and the mountains. Mo’s Diner and Adam’s Mountain Cafe walking distance- both w great food.

The hotel wasn’t that busy, not sure why they placed us in a room where plumber needed to come in and do some work

The owner was an absolute JOY and was incredibly helpful with area restaurants, shuttle, and attraction information. She always had a kind and joyful smile for us when she saw us coming and going on the property. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel had a retro vibe to it and we felt like family the entire time. We will definitely be coming back.

Would have loved for the AC to already be on when we arrived as it took awhile for the heat to go away overnight. The wifi seemed a spotty (cut in and out) when we tried to work a bit on our laptops. Wasn't awful, but it was noticable.
