Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps - Mantobeni

Wir hatten eine unglaublich tolle Zeit in Mantobeni! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Zelt war sehr geräumig, nachts liegt man gefühlt mitten in der Wildnis. Vor allem die Safaris haben uns überzeugt, unser Guide Michael hat einen tollen Job gemacht und uns mit Witz und Herz versucht so viele Tiere wie möglich zu zeigen. Hierbei sind er und seine Kollegen sehr respektvoll mit den Tieren umgegangen, hielten Abstand und wechselten sich ab um nicht mit zu vielen Autos die Tiere zu belästigen.

Gar nichts! Wir würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp — easily a 10/10! This place perfectly combines the magic of the African bush with comfortable accommodation and excellent service.  From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my whole stay. The tents are beautifully appointed — spacious, comfortable, and really give you that authentic “safari under canvas” feeling while still offering great comforts like hot showers and quality bedding.  The real highlight, though, is the game drives: expert guides take you out twice daily, and it’s truly thrilling being so close to wildlife. Many guests rave about seeing elephants right by the pool, and you can often spot lions, leopards, buffalos, and more during your bush drives.  Dining here is also a joy — meals are delicious and often enjoyed in beautiful settings with other guests, adding a lovely sociable vibe to the experience. 

If I had one tiny suggestion for improvement, occasionally tent comfort and ventilation can be variable (they can get warm in summer or a bit basic compared to ultra‑luxury lodges), but it absolutely didn’t detract from the overall experience.  Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtaking, immersive safari experience — I’d come back in a heartbeat! 🌿🦁🦓

Het was onze tweede keer bij Honeyguide Mantobeni en het heeft wederom onze verwachtingen overtroffen! De locatie, het personeel (Mavis is echt een lieverd!), het eten; eigenlijk alles is zo fijn daar! Het voelde echt als thuiskomen. We hadden helaas niet zo'n goed weer (lees veel regen), maar onze gids Brilliant maakte van iedere game drive weer een prachtige ervaring. Deze man werkt al ruim 15 jaar als gids en weet werkelijk alles! We zouden er zo weer heengaan!

On y mange très bien, avec un choix a chaque repas, ce qui a été une surprise. Les tentes sont très confortables, on ne manque de rien, la literie est vraiment formidable ! De l eau chaude et de la wifi dans les tentes, on ne peut pas rêver mieux en pleine nature ! Notre guide était très cultivé et nous avons appris plein de choses sur les animaux et leur environnement

Il avait beaucoup plu la veille de notre arrivée, est la piste qui va de l Orpen gate a la réception était vraiment boueuse, avec des tronçons très difficile à passer en voiture de ville…

Die Zelte waren sehr schön und groß. Das Personal und unser Ranger Twice waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Todo el personal muy amable y servicial. Las comidas son muy ricas.

Quizás mejorar el internet. Pero en realidad todo fue excelente

It was amazing!! I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The elephants coming to the pool to get water was the big plus, also loads of impalas running around. We loved it! The game drives were brilliant, we saw so many animals. I really recommend it!
