Wadi Rum UFO Luxotel

Luxotel provided us with a fantastic experience at Wadi Rum. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well designed. Mohammed at the friend desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff and awesome food.

Air conditioning and fridge were extremely weak. No proper lighting in the bathroom. No tv.

Our stay at UFO Luxotel in Wadi Rum was unfortunately a major letdown. Despite the beautiful natural surroundings, the overall experience was far below expectations: - No alcohol served at all. - Electricity is weak — fridge didn’t work. - Transportation is poorly organized and often delayed. - Customer service is unresponsive and lacks hospitality. - The outdoor common area, where they supposedly host entertainment, was completely empty. No music, no ambiance — the excuse was that it’s meant to be “romantic,” but in reality it was just dull and lifeless. - No entertainment at night — very boring atmosphere. - The bubble room roof doesn’t open, which defeats the point of the experience. - Only one access card per room, which is inconvenient. - No water bottles in the room. - No pool or recreational facilities. - The lobby was hot — AC not working. - The welcome drink was disappointing — just powdered Tang. - The toilet had a bad smell and wasn’t cleaned properly. - Food quality and taste well below average. - No waiter assistance with shisha — felt like an afterthought. - The breakfast team is not trained — service was chaotic. - Ice buckets are tiny — needed to request multiple. - The golf cart driver was always rushing, which made us feel stressed and unwelcome during transportation. The overall vibe of the camp felt very restrictive and overly conservative, which might suit a very specific audience, but was not what we expected from a leisure desert experience. They should be more transparent about the type of experience they offer — because for most travelers looking for a relaxing, fun, and memorable stay, this simply won’t deliver.
