Kobori Ryokan

Very close to the major attractions. It is an old inn but is well maintained. The people working there are very sweet.

The front door will be locked after midnight, so if you are a night owl, this may not be an ideal place.

Traditional breakfast, cooking my own scrambled egg and bacon on the table top stove, lovely service, sofa in the room, old style decor, being shown to my room, communal bath as well as room bath, traditional ryokan guest clothing.

No criticism, it was perfect for me to step back one foot in the past with traditional service and I could see the years pass by. I felt really comfortable straight away and wanted to stay longer. Just mentioning the older decor in case someone was expecting more updated rooms.

The room was very simple. The room has a bath so that was quite relaxing. Staff were really nice, try the best they could to explain in English or with a translator app and they stored my luggage for the day after check out which was nice. I got an apple type of candy and a little cute origami crane for free

There was an onsen but it seems like it’s only for men so that wasn’t too good. The boiler was just above my room so it was quite loud.

Helpful staff, interesting building, very comfortable room, good breakfast If you don't want to hear street noise, ask for a from away from the front of the building. We liked our room. We used a sleep sound machine to block out the incessant road noise...

Location was great, staff was accommodating and friendly.

Room was a little small but expected for a one person room.

Easy walk to Hirosaki Castle park . Staff were friendly and helpful

The staff's hospitality was great!

It would be perfect if the water temperture in the bath room was a bit hotter because of my preference.
