A nostalgic atmosphere which creates a wonderful energy around the facilities.

Extremely friendly staff and cert relaxing and enjoyable overall experience. Onsen highly recommended (inside/outside). Dinner at the hotel restaurant superb and delicious. Extra thanks for offering a spectacular multi-course vegetarian meal as well.

From their complimentary to/from pickup from Kurayoshi Station, from check in to checkout, all were amazing. The staffs, while they don’t speak English, are very warm and tried their best to speak with me through translator app. I also had the best meals there in all of my stays in Japan. The location is also situated in the most strategic area of Misasa right at the bridge and the Onsen outdoor. I’ll surely be back.

One thing to improve perhaps is to remove or replace the screen on the glass window that overlooks the bridge. Without that, it’ll be perfect!

Great location.

Nice view of Misasa. Misasa is a good location, close to NageireDou temple, also close to Kurayoshi if you get bored of relaxing in the onsen. The food was really good, the dining area was cute the way it was set up, with the private dining rooms off to the side of a large open area with stones. Valet service made parking easy.

The place felt a bit dated. The air circulation in the room wasn't great. Sometimes the staff seemed less friendly than other ryokans. We didn't see any other westerners there, so perhaps they weren't used to dealing with non-Japanese speakers. On more than one occasion the server seemed exasperated with us.
