The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. They were able to accommodate our request for a very early checkout, and gave us useful information about the area and what to visit.

Superb Japanese breakfast but maybe not to European taste. The evening dinner was fantastic.

Great Japanese breakfast but maybe not to some western tastes. However, evening dinner was fantastic. Traditional Ryokan with Onsen. Best value in the area.

The place was very cozy and friendly! They explained everything upon arriving, and were very accomodating to our needs, and communicated very well. One of the staff even learned some words in our mother tongue, which was unexpected and very sweet. The private onsen was defintely a bonus, especially since my tattoos weren't a problem there, and it was a very relaxing experience after our hike in the mountains. There are breakfast and dinner options offered for and extra charge, we went with the breakfast, though it is very traditional, so it might not be for someone who's picky with their food. Overall a great experience, I wish I could've stayed longer :D.

We encountered some insects in the room, due to it's vicinity to nature.

We had a great time here during our one night in Hakone. The stuff is very nice. We had one of the best sleep on futon’s 😇 and wonderful breakfast. We used private onsen, it was really relaxing after a long day.

It might need some refreshment here and there, but nothing that will affect your stay

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and warm. The food was unlike anything we have had, made with such love and attention…it was like art! Beautiful. We are so grateful. And we loved the kitties!
