Private onsen inside and out of your room. Beautiful remote location up in the mountains near Aso that with wonderful choice of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Dinner on site was superb in proper ryokan style. Delightful, attentive staff.

Less manicured as the photos on the site. The ubiquitous, vending machines very slow Wi-Fi.
