"Great ryokan with onsen"

The owner is just the nicest person you could imagine. He really makes you feel welcome and at home. The place is also great for experiencing a traditional Japanese inn. The onsen is very nice and only one person at a time is using it. We loved our stay. The location is conveniently close to train and bus station. There is also a 7/11/Lawson close by.

Super, l’hôte était génial et nous a tout bien expliqué. Le onsen (soiree naturelle !) peut être privatisé. Bien localisé autour Hakone/Lac Ashi. Belle expérience que de dormir sur des futons dans un logement traditionnel japonais.

I loved the onsen and how helpful the host was. The rooms were clean, comfortable and traditional

The price was quite a lot, I understand the onsen is included but it seems like a huge price hike for just the onsen and traditional vibe

"Good Japanese vibe"

Very nice and private hotel with an onsen. The onsen was spacious enough for one person, perfect for relaxing in privacy. The room was clean and large. If you want to experience traditional Japanese culture, I highly recommend staying here. The staff were very welcoming and gave me great advice on how to spend my time in Hakone - including the best way to see everything in one day! :)

Check-in was at 16:00. I arrived about an hour early and found the door closed, which confused me at first. Fortunately, after walking around for about 10 minutes, I met a staff member who kindly explained that I had arrived too early. He showed me where I could leave my luggage, and I went for a walk around the village.

De locatie was prachtig, in een rustig dorp, met een goede bus verbinding. De eigenaar was zeer behulpzaam en gaf goede tips om te doen. De onsen was heerlijk. De kamer was mooi en groot
