"Amazing retreat in a historic and natural setting"

We loved everything about the Minshuku and the town. With no doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The host was very friendly, the meals delicious, and the house beautiful. Highly recommended!

"Nice, peaceful, and relaxing stay."

The area was nice and quiet, better than Shirakawa-go in this aspect. The amount of trails in the area allowed for fun short hikes into the mountainside with great views along the way. It made for a nice spot to relax and enjoy the old architecture and nature of Japan.
