I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.

This was a really special place, we were very well looked after. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a perfect base for hiking around Mount Mitake and there is a hot bath with an amazing view to finish off the day. We'll never forget our stay at Nobori - would definitely recommend it.

The meals that they served were excellent and you could tell that the food they served was of high quality. We really appreciated the exceptional cleanliness of the rooms during our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised by how our beds and rooms were prepared for us when we were having our meals. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay at Nobori if you want to visit/hike at Mount Mitake.

Food was amazing, vegetarian travelling in our group was well catered for. Staff were lovely and so friendly. Magical place to stay.

We loved the amazing view from our bedroom, the Welcome, helpfulness and the delicious home cooked Japanese food.

Nothing to dislike !

We loved the traditional style and where it was located. Atop Mitakesan, we had absolutely fantastic views, both from outside and inside the inn.

The only downside was the travel time to get there. However, if you can make the journey to Mitake railcar station, it's a quick trip up the mountain.
