Fantastic experience sleeping in a traditional Riokan, doing Onsen sessions and wearing Yukatas.

A bit outdated and dinner and general stay was a bit overpriced, but I guess that’s due to the location.

This was an amazing hotel experience! Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We loved the traditional Japanese breakfast. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and experienced the turn down service with our futons. Room and bathroom were huge and had great views of the mountains including from a balcony. We took advantage of a private onsen which was a great experience. Convenient location near monkey park. Also great option that they offer shuttle pickup from the Yudanaka train station so you don’t have to walk up the hill with your luggage.

You should probably book both the dinner and breakfast options as there isn’t much around the hotel for walking - we walked down the big hill into town but may not be easy for everyone

The location is beautiful with easy access to the Snow Monkey Park. The hot baths and full breakfast were a wonderful start for our days. Highly recommend dinner as well!

Nice location and view. Great hot spring onsen. Large room. Breakfast and dinner are served with high quality and amount. Very friendly staff.

The aging hotel requires renovation. Especially the bathroom and shower have a charming 80th feeling.

This was such a wonderful experience. The grounds were beautiful and the room was comfortable and warm. We loved the pool And private Onsen

Ryokan with an onsen and wonderful food. We also had a beautiful view and found ourselves watching the sunset and enjoying the stars.
