"Wonderful, would return again."

Everything was wonderful including the changing dinner menus, the private onsen, the daily yakatas and slippers provided. Location to the monkeys is perfect. Within close proximity to the buses and a few cafes. Staff were so lovely.

Excellent service, beautiful location, delicious food.

Other than the onsen not too many activities to do in the hotel but I guess it is meant to be a relaxed stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which beautifully blends old-world charm with traditional Japanese and modern architecture. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the mountains. From the lobby all the way to the room, the views of the surrounding landscape were calming and made me feel truly relaxed. Its location near the Snow Monkey Park was also a big plus, and visiting in winter made the snowy scenery feel extra special. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. We enjoyed traditional Japanese set meals that could be curated to suit our dietary preferences, which made the experience both authentic and thoughtful. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, this is a wonderful place to unwind and appreciate both nature and beautiful design.

"Perfect in every way, the onsen is a must!"

Perfect beautiful Onsen, great service, lovely traditional style, just next to the snow monkeys. Even made sure we have gluten-free bread.

Tolle, traditionelle, saubere Zimmer. Sehr schöner Onsen. Perfekte Lage um den Affenpark zu besuchen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

"Nice stay especially to visit snow monkeys and onsen."

Location is nice and overall the experience was good. The private onsen was incredible!

Food was okay but not exceptional. There wasn’t laundry service.

"Perfect for experiencing a traditional Ryokan"

It has both an indoor and outdoor bath as well as private baths available to rent. The food was amazing and they were easily able to accommodate my sisters dietary requirements. We went with the Japanese style beds with futons and they were very comfortable. It was a perfect stop on the way to Fuji after Hakuba and very close to the snow monkeys, you could easily walk from the hotel.
