"A perfect hotel to feel like a home away from home with the comforts you would expect from a boutique hotel included."

It was a small intimate property. The staff were incredibly helpful with arranging taxis and luggage forwarding service. Breakfast was delicious and the chefs matcha tea cake and cheesecake was to die for. Accommodation was a good mix of traditional and modern with all the extra finishing touches added that you would want from a boutique hotel. My daughters loved it and felt at home.

My only suggestion would be that the hotel is perhaps bots suitable for smaller children 0-7 purely because the walls are thin and noise travels.

"A luxurious stay in Kyoto."

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge Azabu. The room was really spacious and comfortable, lots of little touches, stylishly done. The breakfast was delicious and the staff treat you like family. The final day we had to leave early and they were kind enough to offer us breakfast earlier than the usual timings. The location is fantastic for getting around Kyoto. Highly recommend, this was one of our top stays whilst in Japan.

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and created a warm, cosy and personal environment. The location was away from the busy tourist areas but ideally located for exploring Kyoto, and the breakfast was delicious.

I can't think of anything I would improve. Everything was great!

"Ein wunderschönes Kleinod mit 5 Zimmern und herzlichen Gastgebern"

Ein wunderbar kleines (5 Zimmer) und damit privates Gasthaus auf höchstem Niveau und sehr liebevoll und schön eingerichtet. Das ganze Team ist sehr herzlich. Die Gastgeber betreiben noch ein Restaurant in Paris, daher hatten wir uns an einem der Abende entschieden dort zu essen. Letztendlich wurde es ein privates Mehrgänge-Dinner, als Fusion zwischen Japanischer und Französischer Küche, zubereitet vom Inhaber persönlich. Einfach klasse! Auch bekamen wir von ihm einen spannenden, lokalen Geheimtip für einen weiteren Abend (mitsamt einer vorgeschrieben Bestellung auf Japanisch ;-)) U-Bahn Station direkt um die Ecke und das Gasthaus ist nur eine Station von der Kyoto-Station entfernt.
