An oasis in Kyoto- with the most amazing staff who were all so kind. The property itself looks stunning, rooms were more than comfortable and the breakfast was great. Though, staff members were the real stand out. Thank you to everyone for looking after us, especially Aki- who is probably one of the nicest humans one would come across.

"Beautiful oasis away from the hecticness of Kyoto"

Very modern ryokan near Gojo station, one metro stop away from Kyoto Station. Excellent and accommodating staff with generous room.size and very modern facilities. Home cooked breakfast was a delight.

The ceilings appear thin as it sounded like we had giants stomping above us, especially around bed time. If you intend to immerse in Kyoto sites and main attractions then better to stay near Kyoto station and save a metro fare.
