"Endroit magique"

Endroit magique , ma 1e expérience d'un ryokan très très agréable. proche de la gare , un peu en haut du village . Très grand hall d'accueil avec un café offert à l'arrivée Repas gastronomique japonais fabuleux De grandes salles pour les onsen Ma meilleure nuit : je craignais la dureté du sol, je me suis retrouvée dans un lit très douillet, très confortable , installé pendant le temps du diner.

-Emplacement mal indiqué ; même devant l'hôtel, je ne voyais pas que j'étais arrivée car tout était seulement en écriture japonaise -la chambre, très grande, confortable mériterait bien d'être rénovée . - mes demandes par mail ont soit eu une réponse très tardive, soit pas de réponse du tout ( dommage pour un tel établissement)

Great location, about 5 mins walk from station. Lovely, slightly retro, traditional Japanese inn/hotel. Kaiseki meals were great. Enjoyed the foot spa by the river and the onsen. Great experience sleeping on futon.

"Beautiful and comfortable with convenient location but look elsewhere for food"

The room was great, spacious, good mix of traditional and modern, lovely private onsen, also liked the public area and foot onsen. The staff is also very kind, and the location relative to transport/train station/bus stop is fantastic and beautiful.

Both my partner and I are quite adventurous with food and really enjoy japanese food, however we both found the kaiseki dinner here quite really unpleasant. (mix of fried fish, jellies, bland hotpot, and other things we didn’t even know what they were). We decided to skip the breakfast out of fear for similarities with the dinner.
