It was a traditional breakfast in Japanese style. Loved the service and the ambience.

I didn't like that we had the same seat and were moved to specific rooms. That took away from the uniqueness of the experience.

Onsen was very nice with a good variety of pools and amenities. Room decent size and nice to have some chairs that could sit in even in Japanese room. Outside foot bath also nice extra. Ladies in dining room very friendly as were all staff. Ended up having a back massage which was very nice.

Although we normally eat fish we found the evening meal a struggle with quite a few dishes and also quite a lot of tofu but was beautifully presented. Noticed a few other tables had higher quality ingredients such as shellfish, maybe crab? and dishes over a flame. Maybe that came with a more expensive room?
