"The first time to come across such unhelpful staff and low quality Japanese hotel"

With Onsen and close to Ogizawa station for easy to reach the starting point of snow wall.

The breakfast starts at 7 am but the first bus to snow wall is 07:30. They can’t change to earlier or provide packed breakfast. There’s no refund or any compensation. Also, staff is unhelpful in handling of luggage. All luggage needs to carry by ourselves during checkin and out.

Beautiful ryoken. Lovely food. Beautiful setting. Friendly, helpful, staff. A wonderful experience thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 6 adults.

The ensen is great. The food was wonderful.

The location is very close to the Ogizawa station, making a perfect stop before or after your trip to the Alpine route. Tranquil and peaceful, very restful.

"Just the absolute best place to visit and stay in Japan."

I won't go into too much detail unless I accidentally write an essay. But this was easily the best, most comfortable, friendliest, most beautiful, equipped and wonderful place my partner and I stayed on any of my previous trips to Japan.

There was nothing I did not LOVE about Oribana.
