Riad Full Moon

Youssef the staff was good, breakfast was ok.

The room was very small, barely able to fit next to bed. Window is small and does not close properly, you can hear noise all night from the street. They have AC so we did not freeze in the room. Wifi signal did not reach the room. We also had an issue with the tour we booked though them because they said all was included without drinks and lunch. However, at the first stop to the citadel close to the Marrakesh, the guide charged us 40 dh each as an entry fee, although it clearly said that all entries are included in the price paid. When we told them this, they did not offer to pay back this amount. Better get tours when you get here and check prices with more agencies.

The attention that Youssef gave my friend and I was extraordinary. He helped me with a pick up taxi at the airport, welcomed us with lovely tea and biscuits, was always helpful and since I told them it was my birthday trip, he put a couple of birthday hats and flowers in the room. He was always smiling and answering every question we had. I highly recommend this Riad. The common areas are beautiful and the room, has the space you need if you consider that you’ll using only to sleep and shower/toilet use… the road where it is , is under construction in a bit but it was ok. Good location but quite hard to find due to poor signage

Before arriving, we asked if we could order something small to eat. This is something standard for most Riads. We got no answer, and I assumed that it was not possible. After checking in, we went out for a meal, which we told the person in reception. When we returned, the same person said our "order" of light dinner was ready. I explained that nobody had told me the order had been taken. We were reassured that it was a small meal, so we laughed and ate it. We were served soup with dates, mint tea and fruit salad at the end. It did not have a big dinner. After dinner, we asked to pay for city tax (which is separate from the bill) and pay for the dinner. We were told to pay 450 dirhams. Considering the tax was 50 dirhams, we were floored by the 400 dirhams for the meal. We had a long conversation with the young man in reception, as I realised that there was a menu in our room which showed a price of 150 dirhams per person for a 3-course dinner. Even if we were charged for this, that would be 300 and not 400. I just could not accept this. Ultimately, we "settled" for 200 for dinner, which I think was way too much. I found this whole situation ridiculous, and since this was my second time in Morroco, I know this is not normal. Overall, this was an inexpensive choice, so I wasn't expecting too much, but the dinner incident was a red flag. Also, our room was tiny: only a bed and little space around it. We stayed one night and will not be returning.

Abdul the host was excellent and couldn’t be more helpful! Such a joy to meet him! The breakfast was incredible!

The room didn’t smell the freshest when I arrived but I was only staying one night so it was fine!

I liked the food, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The riad is beautifully decorated and very authentic. The dinner was very nice and great value for money, the Moroccan soup is also very delicious and the cous cous. I would definitely recommend this riad

They could upgrade and add the traditional Moroccan almond butter to their breakfast menu along with other breakfast options, such as eggs or musli and milk alternatives. Then it would be perfect

I liked the beauty of the Riad and the exceptional staff along with it.
