The riad is truly beautiful, with our room overlooking the main interior garden. Despite being located in the heart of the medina, the moment you walk through the narrow streets and enter the riad, it feels like a peaceful rural retreat, completely free from noise and full of tranquility. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Having breakfast at the riad is an absolute must. It offers excellent value for money, with a generous selection of breads, drinks, and local specialties, all served in the peaceful garden setting. The room was comfortable, cozy, and impeccably maintained. It was cleaned daily, and we found everything to be in perfect order throughout our stay.

Due to the impact of the recent earthquakes, some of the doors and windows could not be fully closed. In our case, this was not an issue, as the weather was mild during our stay, but it could be more noticeable for guests visiting in the winter months. That said, this is also part of the charm of staying in a traditional riad. These historic properties offer a unique and authentic experience that you simply would not find in a modern hotel chain. If you are looking for character, atmosphere, and a genuine connection to the medina, the riad delivers exactly that.

Sehr netter Empfang, die Zimmer sind schön - wie auf den Photos, super Lage, leckeres Frühstück, alle Zimmer gehen zum Innenhof. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

An enchanting riad deep in the Medina, El Kharaz is an oasis of peace and calm. Essaaida and Boujmaa are the most wonderful hosts! They gave us excellent directions right to the door and made us feel so very welcome with mint tea on our arrival and a superb breakfast! An absolutely wonderful stay.

Le calme du lieu et la simplicité de la décoration de bon goût.

On a cette impression que le lieu est comme laissé à l'abandon..Cela manquait d'accueil, de vie,.. Nous sommes montés à la terrasse et c'était comme pas entretenu , les lumières ne fonctionnaient pas.. cela ne ressemblait pas aux photos. Nous avons eu du mal à trouver le lieu et il faut pas mal marcher depuis le taxi dans des ruelles sombres.. seule, le soir, je n'aurai pas été à l'aise.

Essadia et son mari sont extrêmement sympa et bienveillant. Ils sont sincère, réactif à notre demande. La maison est très propre avec un Riad plein d’arbre d’oranger et une terrasse très beau. Petit dej fait maison très copieux. Je recommande
