"peaceful refreshing rural farm stay in comfortable yurt accommodation"

a very special and unique place to stay, very authentic rustic farm stay in the most comfortable yurt accommodation.. I felt like I was having a real break from every day life and had the best sleep ever after an amazing soak in the wood fired hot tub under the stars and listening to the night birds. The yurt was quiet and well appointed and the adjoining bathroom and kitchen had everything I needed. The loveliest breakfast was supplied with locally made sausages, local honey, free range farm eggs, bread and muesli. There is a gas BBQ and all the other power is either solar, gas or wood fired I went for a nice run in the morning enjoying great views of the ruatangata landscape and met the gorgeous friendly hosts. I would totally recommend this accommodation as a place to reset solo or as a couple - and I see they have accommodation options here for groups eg weddings

Cannot fault this place but definitely do try to arrive in day time as it is an authentic rural accommodation and good to get the views and orientation ... and possibly a lovely sunset too

"It was the perfect ending for our new zealand trip!"

The location was amazing! the property is really really lovely and we walked around it and visited all the animals. Eileen was an amazing host and explained us everything. the yurt was cozy and the hot tub outside in the evening was relaxing and perfect for our last two days in new zealand. we had a nice breakfast in the morning outside in the sun looking over the pond.
