Hotel Portlight

I really did enjoy my stay at the Portlight. The room was nice and the bed is super comfortable. There was obvious noise due to the near by port. The other people at the hotel weren't too nice and did make a lot of noise, but for the most part I would definitely go back again.

Pros: price was the primary reason for stay $70 a night tax & fees included (50 deposit) Place has potential to grow, probably invest more in plants around the area Rooms are updated nice size TV and AC works well, not as smelly Decent bed, nice smelling pillows and sheets I like the shampoo they give has a nice scent Not too far from convenient stores,

Cons: smelly carpets, needs monthly carpet cleaning. Frequent cigarette smell from other rooms(headaches) Bad air quality, need fan or better ventilation instead of AC Gaps in door allowing cigarette smoke to enter Restroom walls should be clean with Clorox well, to the top and to the bottom after use. Starbucks is 2.5 miles away (just saying)

I thought I may have lost something. And the staff went above and beyond to make sure I't wasn't. Also the hotel had a very good view of the fireworks and wasn't busy around me.

All in all happy with our stay definitely stay there again in the future
