Golden Lion Motel

Beds were comfortable and nice coffee makers.

Old furnishings and worn. No clean towels & bathroom with rust stains. Extension cords everywhere & no outlet in bathroom. I heard mice in my room & not a safe neighborhood (drug dealer on stairs).

Nothing

The room was shabby, dirty, lacked essentials. Also I am sure that I left something in the room and when I called, they denied having it. The stay was awful!

Dirty and smelled like dog and cigarettes

Alleged 24 hour access to staff. Bed and pillows were comfortable, sheets and pillowcases were clean.

Live insects in the refrigerator, no inside lock on the door, couldn't read the dial on the heater control, noise from the log mill all night, no electrical outlet in the bathroom, the tiny desk in the room was covered with coffee maker and related paraphernalia, no shampoo, the bathroom floor was sticky, Internet speed on the Wi-Fi was less than 20-year-old dial up, never made up the bed or supplied new towels, or new coffee pods.

The hotel was close to my family house that we were visiting.

I used to stay here. Every time I went to visit grandma. I accidentally booked the wrong thursday.

This was november, I requested to rebook another date..still no response from owners

Well run by folks that really try to give great service. Not a new place but clean, spacious, and well cared for by the folks running it.

The street side rooms are noisy until about 10 pm. So if you have an early morning, get the rooms on the non street side.

The owner was super sweet and kind.
