"Great location, very basic room."

The area is great.

The bathroom in particular needed updating/refreshing. The shower floor looked uninviting, there's always the next hotel/motel to take a shower at. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, which was very odd for a non-smoking property. We aired the room and the smell cleared, but shouldn't the owners or cleaners have had done that?
