"If you like communication, I would not stay here."

The room was cute and it was close the event I was in town for. The code for the door was sent to me in a text message before check in.

Literally zero customer service or communication when it was needed. I did get a text with the code for the door, but no other welcome info (including WiFi log in, how to get extra blankets/towels if need, etc) and had to email three times to get the info 24hrs after checking in. Also, we were turned away from the bar on site the first night we were there (when it wasn’t even busy) because we did not make a reservation which does not make any sense. I understand that if you are busy, you might have to turn someone away, but we weren’t even given a wait time and had to leave the motel to drive somewhere else. This place is literally in the middle of no where and that was beyond frustrating. Honestly, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.

The pier with sand and tables by the water was beautiful. Our server Alea (hope I spelled it right) went above and beyond remembering things like my wife’s bday and our anniversary. She was great. Food was great. Room was cozy. It was a great romantic getaway.

The communication was tough we had to wait to get in the room even though we requested via email early time and was told 2:00. Had to wait until after 3:00 had a 4:30 wedding to get to. It was off to a rocky start
