Two Rivers Lodge

Not too far from Cherokee. Price better than Cherokee places. Seemed clean.

There were some holes in the wall, one of the light sconces had the cord just hanging with no end. One side of bed had no light or table. The tv was not in front of bed but way over to the right. No plug for tub, so couldn’t take a bath.

The location and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Room was spacious and very clean. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the river.

It was outdated, but well kept. The king bed was nice, but a little too firm for me. It gave me a backache.

The room had onsite parking, and the beds were reasonable. It is close to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

We booked this place because of the ratings, however we were really disappointed in our room. We had stayed in rooms with lower ratings on this trip to the USA that was much better value for money and felt cleaner. The seventies style appeals to us which was another reason for our booking, however our room was still the original from the seventies. The linoleum was lifting in the bathroom and fittings were really just shoddy. We live in a humid climate and understand that things rust, but a new shower rail is really not that expensive. It did not feel very clean to us, possibly due to linoleum lifting, the grout out of the tiles and paint peeling off the wooden door frames. A new shower curtain will also be a good investment.

Family owned! Right where the two rivers meet and has an amazing view!
