Sun -N- Sand Motel

The room was clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable and extra blankets were in the room. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The room only had a short standard toilet that is really low for a 6'5" tall person. It's hard to get up from it when it is so low. If any upgrades are ever made to the rooms, we'd recommend putting in ADA toilets to make it easier to use. But with that being said, we still highly recommend this motel and even with the low toilet we would rent a room for 1-2 nights at a time because of the extreme comfort of the mattress, cleanness of the room, the reasonable rates and the friendly & helpful staff made it worth the stay.

I showed up a little late, (almost dark). They had my name on an envelope, the the key, wi-fi password and room #. I didn't actually meet the manager. The room was semi-clean, but the bed was comfy with clean linen. Warm shower, but I had to play around with the knobs for a while. I liked the shampoo choices. TV stations were digital, but airwaves, (not satellite nor cable). Parking was number with the room and close. That was nice. Walking distance to a restaurant and convenient station. The price was very reasonable for the location.

Carpet need cleaning or shampooed. I assumed I was prepaid but still didn't meet the manager to verify in the morning. It was very self contained. I just left. It was a cold night and they provide a little mini-electric heater. It wasn't quite big enough for the room. But I was able sit at the chair a watch TV in front of it. Blanket & quilt-top made it survivable.

Nothing fancy but a clean comfortable room

Great value for money and amazing location. We slept very very good, comfy bed and nice and quiet. Simple check in and friendly staff. Would recommend for a couple of nights stay. Coffee and fruit for breakfast was a nice touch.

The heater in the room started smoking instantly when plugged in, we moved it outside. The microwave turntable did not work too. It also mentions “tea and coffee” in the room but there was no way to boil water. That said, would definitely stay again.

Kinda run down looking at the exterior. Shower was also hard to turn off (had to move knobs in correct order/ direction).

Very kind and accommodating staff.

Didn’t figure out how to function the A/C until the morning.

Bed was comfortable

WIFI had poor signal or was out; TV remote didn't work; not very clean.
