Worst place ever. Bug infested Never been clean Public hair in sheets Type of motel. I posted some pics here to show how horrible it is Don't stay here unless you have no choice... I'd even prefer to sleep on a bathroom floor in a gas station instead of this motel.

We needed a place to lay our heads and found this online...very cheap. Figured, "how bad could it be?"...it was bad. Really bad. We didn't want to touch any thing. I slept (if you want to call it that) wrapped up in a sheet because I didn't want to touch the bed spread. This is the second bad experience in a Florida City hotel. It's like it's no man land there. Next time, we'll spend the money and stay where the locals recommend....

As a young traveler, I've stayed in many hostels, cheap hotels, and motels in my life, but this was the most inhabitable accommodation I've ever been to. When trying to save a buck, you don't expect much, but AT LEAST ONE of three important factors: bed, bathroom, and carpet. The bed was full of hair from previous stayers; I had to sleep on a pile of my own clothes. The carpet was moist and squishy. And if you plan on taking a shower while you're there? Too bad, you get a bath instead; because the water doesn't drain. There are many other hotels in the area. This one stays in business by capturing unsuspecting travelers who don't know any better, or those who didn't plan ahead and were stuck here during the holidays while every other said hotels were completely booked (That would be me). PLEASE AVOID!!! If I do any good in this world, let it be that I convinced you to NOT throw these unethical owners a bone! Their income obviously doesn't go to upkeep.

Had made a 3 night reservation through booking.com and I wanted to change the reservation to 1 night. Through booking.com it was not possible so I called the hotel personally. They were VERY unfriendly on the phone, it was not possible. So we decided to cancel the whole reservation and lose 140 dollars. Was a smart move when reading all the ratings on TripAdvisor.

It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in... Everything was filthy, old and dirty, from the floor to the bathroom... One night was more than enough. No towels, 15 minutes to get hot water, no shampoo.... If you can, avoid this place there are many other opportunities for a similar price.

We spend the night here after pay like in econo lodge hotel or motel six for only one night the room wasn't that bad but first thing we found was a big roach almost dead in floor someone else leave a toys that means they don't check proper the room before beds looking good but hair on sheets and strong smell like wet carpet and also toilet doesn't work proper. What a night we just rest something but have to leave early because they're check ou hour is at 10:30 whattttt yes at 10:30 so u need to weak up early and done and leave.

I can honestly say this is the worst motel I have ever stayed in!!!! The Carpet is old as dirt, the floor is lumpy under the carpet. The walls have nothing on them...horrible paint job..Refrig. had water in the freezer area with bugs in it....The A/C is a window shaker that you need to stand on the luggage rack so you can turn it on, the controls are about 6 inches from the ceiling had to get one of the cleaners to turn it on for me. And it didn't even cool well. Bottom sheet was ripped and the top sheet had stains on it...good thing I brought my own...Had made a 4 night reservation and they would only let me cancel 3 of them had to pay for one night everything in the area was already booked...Room is dirty...I guess thats why they have a no refund policy you are stuck... I will never book through Booking.com again

stayed here for 4 days in january while on a trip to the evergaldes. it's location is very convenient to highway 1, the florida turnpike, evergaldes national park and local stores and restaurants. the nightly rate was only $35, much cheaper than similarly dumpy motels in homestead. the room was large and had a microwave, fridge and 70 channel cable tv. air conditioner worked but the heater didn't. i'd recommend looking at the room and checking to see that everything works before paying- they have a no refund policy. negatives were that there was no daily maid service of any kind and the room was dusty, fridge and microwave were filthy but worked. owners obviously don't care about cleanliness. but for the price, the room was as good as rooms at other dumpy homestead motels that charge twice as much, such as knights inn , budget host, country hearth, etc.
