Every good, both Asian and European. The variety was great and of good quality. Vegetarian/vegan is possibly catered for but that did not apply to us.

Drinks on board are quite pricey, but fortunately there is happy hour (2=1). Do bear in mind that there will be an ad-on tot the price at the end. This did not disappoint, but may surprise you.

Outstanding itinerary across quiet and remote locations in the Lan Ha Bay. Very warm service, helpful crew members attentive to customer satisfaction. Arranged a room upgrade after an unpleasant night due to overwhelming engine/fuel smell. This engine issue hasn't reoccurred the following night. Small ship with few passengers onboard. Passengers gathered together at the same table for meals.

A bit more AC would have been nice, but it was ok. No wifi, but 4G available depending on network provider. Directly reach out to the crew for cheaper prices.

Cruise boat

No very clean and not maintained well at all, lots of things broken in our room especially, floor boards, glass bathroom door with big cracks in it, shower not working properly and air conditioner above wardrobe leaking and wet our clothes.

"Superb"

Our boat was actually nicer than on the picture. Still a (relatively) small one. It's max capacity is around 24 guest passengers. On our tour were only 12, which meant an event nicer experience and focused service. Excellent experience, beautiful views. Good amount of activities (can be even more than some need, which is fine as they are optional).

Please, when communicating that cards are accepted, do advise about the 3% charge. This putting of transaction costs on customer may be popular in Vietnam, but from my experience it's not added by everyone. End of the tour is really the wrong time to inform of this. It becomes a hidden charge which no customer appreciates.

Our cruise guide was very nice, polite, and helpful. The program was very well organised and we had the chance to visit nice places before the tourist crowds were arriving. Visiting Viet Hai village and fish farm was a nice surprise.

Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer on the boat, and that was a bit of a problem after swimming in Halong Bay on December.
