Paradise Elegance Cruise Halong

Familiar - have done same cruise a year ago The view of Halong Bay I also liked being on the other boat for Day 2, we got to travel further and see more of Halong. It was very peaceful.

We were never out of sight of the buildings on the shoreline which spoilt the view So much rubbish in the water was awful Chair cushions for outside furniture were only put out on Day 2. The 2 circular couches on the upper deck were unusable as has no cushions at all A large ugly stack of chairs - likely leftover from another party - was sitting next to the bar on the upper deck - this looked terrible Once we arrived at Ti Top island on Day 1 the boat barely moved. I expected us to move to a new location. This was disappointing.

I ended up on the Paradise Heritage Cruise last minute instead of the Elegance, so this review is based on that experience and honestly, I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff went above and beyond (Special shoutout to Elyes, who was incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed). It really felt like nothing was too much trouble for them. The attention to detail was next level, coming back from the beach to wet, fragranced towels and even having the sand washed off our legs was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel extra special. The facilities were spotless and had a really luxurious feel throughout. You could tell the ship is very new, everything was in perfect condition. And the food… absolutely incredible. Every meal felt like a highlight. All in all, it turned out to be an amazing experience, even if it wasn’t the ship I originally booked. Definitely exceeded expectations.

The wifi was non existant in the rooms.

Overall a nice experience. Breakfasts were excellent and lunches / dinners were plentiful generally good and mainly western food - would have preferred if the food had more of the local influence. A very nice well appointed boat with good service levels.

We did the 3 day 2 night excursion - it was slightly over-programmed. And the visit to Titov Island should be avoided - overcrowded and unpleasant with nothing to recommend it. Otherwise enjoyed the experience good value for money.
