The location is beautiful

The wifi didn’t work. The bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. Food not good

The room is located in the middle of the forest, it was magical

The lighting in the room and outside was not good, the water in the jacuzzi was not clean.

Very unique setting, lovely getaway.. Staff,welcome and atmosphere was 5 star...

A bit overpriced for what you get... Could definitely include dinner..

Absolutely loved our unique stay in the Pyramid. Baths were great, hot tub was great, everything was great! Staff on check-in were super helpful and friendly, welcome drink a nice added bonus. We took our evening meal in the main restaurant and the food was lovely, and wine just as good. Breakfast we had delivered to the room and ate it outside. We both opted for the eggs benedict and my gosh the portions were huge! We were hoping to have some visitors (monkeys) but they didn't make an appearance unfortunately. Loved the added touch of the golf cart to move around site.

Slight negative was no drinks being brought with breakfast, but maybe this was our oversight in not requesting, but I would have thought juice may have been brought down.

The location is truly unique, the setting amongst the trees and stars makes it feel special. (Only book if you are comfortable with the other person the toilet door is a curtain! )Breakfast is lovely too. The room is clean and has plenty of amenities BUT..

Considering the cost of the night there were quite a few issues. Our sink was broken, the water in the hot tub was dirty. More importantly, service does not match the experience; for instance room service can be ordered but in reality not feasible in anyway.

The exclusivity and staff make this place truly wonderful. After a short trip, 10 minutes at the most, on a gravel road, you arrive at the Misty Mountain Reserve, greated with smiles and welcoming staff. The pyramid itself is found further away from the other accommodation in the reserve, and as a bonus, you get your own golf cart to drive there! The pyramid truly is a unique and romantic experience, and we'd definitely want to be there in the warmer months as well.

The monkeys stole my bodywash as we watched from inside the pyramid. To be fair, we were warned not to leave anything outside :-) There's nothing we didn't like about the accommodation, it was fantastic!

The pyramid is a unique accommodation and a once-in- a-lifetime experience. You get your own golf cart to drive around and can order meals to your room.

While I really wanted to love this place, some things just didn't sit right with us. For an accomodation in this price range I am probably more nitpicky than I would be otherwise but some issues just made you feel like you didn't get your money's worth. There is no generator on the premises. During loadshedding you can use two lamps and charge your phone using an inverter that is connected to a car battery (?) under the bed. I tried to dry my hair using the outlet connected to said inverter and power failed completely. During loadshedding there is no light on the patio. At check-in, the staff couldn't tell us when loadshedding would be that day and told us literally one minute before delivering a braai basket that we had to prepare and eat in the dark because there was no way to light the patio during loadshedding. (Maybe put some of those little solar lanterns in the trees in the outside area?) On our second day, water in the shower was cold. Our breakfast order was forgotten on the last day and when it was delivered after pointing it out, things from the order were missing. While staff were overall very friendly to us, it felt like they didn't communicate with each other very well. I would stay here again due to the unique kind of accommodation but I would recommend not spending more than one night, it's not really worth the cost.
