Quiet, relaxed place with great views and a lovely pool. Upstairs King suite, ocean view, is highly recommended. Great price for a great room. It’s got a lovely rustic feeling. Aas Beach hosts a number of fishing vessels - you can see them leave at 5.30am and it’s spectacular seeing them all return at 8am. Huge plus is the friendly staff; the manager Made is very helpful in arranging things like scooters or drivers for you & will negotiate a fair price.

Downstairs King suite was not as good as upstairs, but they were still good. Sadly, recent wet weather may have caused a mouldy smell, too. It’s away from the busy, noisy Amed area but that means you need transport. It’s too far (& dangerous) to walk to cafes or sights. We hired scooters, via the manager. Also, the roads are shockingly bad so your driver will have to go very slowly!

Quiet with large room and good bathroom; people great and helpful; everything out of the kitchen good; transport arranged to local places to eat or watch sunset; nothing too much trouble

With the east wind snorkelling wasn’t up to much as beach in front not so sheltered in that wind direction; short walk to black sand beach along grass track is a bit grubby/litter-strewn; need own transport to be truly autonomous

Beautiful sunrise views, huge room, right on the beach. Snorkeling is amazing right in front of the hotel, as good as the popular locations to the north... staff is friendly and helpful. Ready to fix any problems (minor problem with the bathtub drain was fixed very quickly). Wayan is a great host/manager. We loved our time there.

Other than the Bali roads which are the same everywhere in East Bali, there's nothing to not like.

Really wonderful staff and the location was very quite. Our bungalow did have a sea view and provided a lovely breeze. We enjoyed watching the fishermen head out very early for the morning catch.

We reserved a basic bungalow and that's what we got. It would be nice if they did some up grades. Short on electrical socks for the electric hot water kettle, plug-ins for charging devices and to be able to plug in a lamp or fan. There were a fair amount of bugs in the bathroom at night, they seemed to be looking for water.
