Everything about this ryokan is amazing. The room was smaller, yet we had space for 3 suitcases. It was very clean. Bathroom and toilet are top notch. Staff were amazing, very welcoming and polite, make you feel like you're home. From arrival, through breakfast, inquiries and check out everyone there explained everything in detail and provided help for everything we needed. Breakfast was traditional including perfectly prepared fish, vegetables, pickled veggies, miso soup, eggs, fruits, tofu with sauce and it was perfect. Location of the hotel is 10-15 minutes walking distance from Kyoto central station in quiet neighbourhood. Everything you need is within walking distance: transportation, shops, restaurants, 7/11 konbini, etc. Amazing experience, would 100% recommend

Gute Lage. 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof. Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr gut. Traditionelles Ryokan. Etwas besonderes !

Das Onzen war im Keller ohne Atmosphäre. Wasser nur lauwarm.

"Very peaceful and comfortable! Great place for me to start out my day of exploring Kyoto."

I loved the traditional style room with the tatami mats and the futon laid out. The staff were very nice and friendly. Delicious Japanese style breakfast to start off the day. The location was also great. Ten minutes to Kyoto Station, so it was very easy to get around the city. Once you turn off the main roads, you are in a much quieter neighborhood, with some old Machiya style buildings mixed in.
